SINCE 1990

Incorporated in 2002, Grindline Skateparks is at the forefront of evolving the art and science of skatepark design and construction. With over 350 world-class skatepark projects successfully completed, we have established an unparalleled reputation for translating community needs into innovative skateboard terrain.

PLANNING

Grindline creates parks that bring communities together by uniting diverse needs through outreach, engagement, and collaboration. We provide complete skatepark design and construction services, including site analysis, community outreach, conceptual design, cost estimation, construction documentation, and execution.

DESIGN

Our process translates skateboarders’ desires into parks that serve everyone. By collaborating with communities, we craft custom designs that reflect each site’s unique character while prioritizing context, safety, and seamless skate flow.

CONSTRUCTION

Field crews at Grindline are experts in cast-in-place concrete, employing advanced shotcrete, flatwork, masonry, and carpentry techniques to craft exceptional skateparks. Licensed, bonded, and insured nationwide, their innovative methods continually set new standards in skatepark and concrete construction.

TERRAIN

Paines Park, Philadelphia PA
Paine’s Park in Philadelphia showcases skatepark design at its finest, blending skateboarding, landscape architecture, and urban planning along the Schuylkill River. Grindline’s smooth concrete finish, intricate brick detailing, and stainless steel edges make it a model of artistry and innovation in public space design.
Hunter Creek Skatepark, Star ID
In 2013, Grindline partnered with the City of Star to design a skatepark for the Hunter Creek Sports Complex. Through community meetings and online forums, we developed a concept featuring the city logo and custom color patterns, approved by the city council in December 2013. After a successful fundraising campaign, Grindline completed construction in November 2016. The park has since become a local favorite.
Rhodes Skatepark, Boise ID
Grindline transformed Boise’s Rhodes Park Skatepark from a simple metal ramp setup into a world-class facility under Interstate 84. Funded by the Albertson’s Foundation and the Boise Skateboard Association, the design overcame site challenges like underground utilities and highway placement. Completed in April 2016, Rhodes Park now serves local skaters and attracts global attention, even hosting X Games events.

Grindline specializes in creating skateparks that accommodate all styles and skill levels. From expansive street plazas and intricate bowl complexes to parks that seamlessly blend transitional and street features, we offer a full spectrum of designs to meet diverse needs. Our projects range from North America’s largest skatepark to compact yet impactful “Skate Dot” obstacles. Renowned for innovation, we create cutting-edge terrain, obstacles, bowls, and street courses. As pioneers in skatepark design and construction, Grindline sets the standard for progression, earning widespread respect as an industry leader.
